UDISHA – Placement Initiative

UDISHA (Universal Development of Integrated employability Skills through Higher
education Agencies) is a placement initiative introduced by the KCG, Higher Education
Department, Government of Gujarat. It aims to guide students in career planning and
professional development by conducting activities throughout the academic year.

The objectives and activities of the UDISHA Club include:

1. Providing information about career options and job avenues
2. Offering career counseling and placement assistance
3. Conducting training sessions for developing soft skills such as communication,
   etiquette, grooming, and work culture
4. Organizing motivational and leadership development activities
5. Holding mock interviews to prepare students for real-life interview experiences
6. Arranging local campus placement opportunities for final-year students

Through these initiatives, UDISHA plays a vital role in bridging the gap between education
and employment, ensuring that students are industry-ready and confident about their career
paths.
