Anti-Ragging Cell
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the college campus and in any associated
hostel or field activity. Our Anti-Ragging Cell is constituted as per the guidelines of the
University Grants Commission and the Supreme Court of India, with a zero-tolerance policy.
The Cell’s functions include:
- Conducting awareness sessions for new students and senior students about the
consequences of ragging. - Vigilance and monitoring of areas such as hostels, classrooms, grounds, canteens and
common rooms. - Accepting complaints and initiating enquiry into alleged acts of ragging, teasing,
harassment or any act causing physical, psychological or emotional harm to a student. - Recommending appropriate disciplinary action, which may include suspension,
expulsion, lodging police complaint or other measures.
Any student or parent who witnesses or experiences ragging is urged to immediately
notify the Anti-Ragging Cell or the designated nodal officer.
